"I recommend dynamic stretches (moving) as opposed to static stretches (i.e. in one fixed position for an extended period). Before my workouts, I warm-up and then do a some dynamic lunge stretches (basically lunge position, then up and down to stretch the hip flexors and quads) and then some lying (face-down) dynamic groin stretches (on knees and then stretch forward). "

Before my workouts, I warm-up and then do a some dynamic lunge stretches (basically lunge position, then up and down to stretch the hip flexors and quads) and then some lying (face-down) dynamic groin stretches (on knees and then stretch forward).

    A couple whey protein drinks a day will get you about 50 grams of protein depending on the brand. Just pick up a jug of the powder and you can mix up a drink (or shake with fruit, etc. if you want to get creative) in the morning and one after your workout.
