Toss cubed beef in salt & pepper

Cook bacon in Dutch oven over medium heat.

Add in beef, stirring often, until browned.

Add onion and cook until softened.

Add garlic and cook, stirring often for 2 minutes.

Add tomato paste and stir until combined.

Stir in broth, tomato sauce and carrots, then bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low, cover and cook for 1 hour.

Uncover and take 1/2 cup of liquid out and combine with flour.

Stir flour mixture into beef mixture until thickened.

Sprinkle with parsley.
