Directions:

In 1-1/2 quart saucepan combine onion, broth mix, and garlic; stirring occasionaly till onion is transparent

Add remaining ingredients and stir to combine

Cover and cook over low heat, stirring occasionaly for about 10 minutes.

Add two cups of water and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to medium and cook about 20 minutes till veg's are soft.

Using slotted spoon remove 1/2 the veg. and set aside.

In blender container, in 2 batches, puree remaining soup, return pureed mixture to saucepan, add reserved vegetables and heat.
