Directions:  
Whisk the sugar and the egg yolks together until pale and thick. Heat the milk until it just simmers. Temper the warm milk into the eggs and pour the custard pack into the sauce pan. Heat on medium heat while constantly stirring until it starts to thicken. Remove from heat and pour through a sieve into a bowl. Let cool to room temperature, cover with plastic wrap and put into the fridge to chill for 2 to 3 hours. Pour into an ice cream maker on the lowest setting for 25 to 35 minutes until it resembles soft serve.
