Directions:  
Cover beans with water and bring to a boil for 2 minutes. Let set for an hour. Drain and rinse beans; add just enough water to cover beans and simmer for 1 hour or until tender. Add tomatoes with juice. Meanwhile, saute meat and put in stock pot. Saute red peper and onion; add garlic at the last minute. Add to meat, add seasonings and simmer for an hour covered. Uncover and simmer until desired consistency.
