To prepare meatballs, combine breadcrumbs, currants, onion, 1/2 t. salt, 1/2 t. ground cumin, 1/2 t. ground cinnamon, ground turkey and egg white. Shape meat mixture into 30 meatballs. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Cook meatballs in batches for 3 minutes or until browned stirring frequently. Place in slow cooker.

To prepare sauce, combine tomato paste, fennel seeds, orange peel, 1/2 t. ground cumin, 1/4 t. ground cinnamon, 1/4 t. salt, ground red pepper and tomatoes. Add to slow cooker, stirring gently to coat. Cover and cook on low for six hours. Serve over couscous.
