Peel and core apples

Stir together apples, cider, lemon juice, anad vanilla

Whisk dry ingredients together

Stir dry ingredients into apples and coat well

Place one pie crust in bottom of 9" pie plate and press into bottom.

Spoon in filling

Place the other pie crust on top and crimp edges to seal.

Poke holes in top crust to let steam out.

Brush top crust with milk or egg wash and sprinkle lightly with sugar.

Place in preheated 425 deg F oven for 15 minutes, reduce temperature to 375 deg F and cook for 45 - 55 minutes more until top is brown and bubbly.
