Step Ups: Single-Leg Front Skips

Primary Muscles Trained:  Thighs
Secondary Muscles Trained:  Gluteus Maximus
Instructions: 
1. Stand straight with your feet shoulder-width apart next to a raised platform such as an aerobics step.
2. Step your leg closest to the platform up pushing forcefully through your heel so that foot lifts of the platform and the other foot lifts off of the ground.
3. Land both feet softly and continue this movement with relative speed.
