Step Ups: Single-Leg Sagittal Skips

Primary Muscles Trained:  Thighs
Secondary Muscles Trained:  Gluteus Maximus
Instructions: 
1. Stand straight with your feet shoulder-width apart directly behind a raised platform such as an aerobics step.
2. Step one leg up to the platform pushing forcefully through your heel so that foot lifts of the platform and the other foot lifts off of the ground.
3. Reverse feet while in air so that your opposite foot lands atop the platform.
4. Land both feet softly and continue this movement with relative speed.
