Yoga Level 1: Boat Pose 1

Calories Burned:  204 calories per hour   (based on a body weight of 150 lbs.)
Begin seated with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor. Your back is straight.

Let your weight shift a little behind your sitting bones as you use your abdominal muscles to pull your thighs in toward your chest and lift your shins so that they are parallel to the floor.

Keep your shoulders down as you extend your arms straight out in front of you so that they mirror your shins. Reach through your finger tips and maintain an open chest.

Hold for 3 to 5 breaths.
