Yoga Level 1: Bound Angle Pose

Calories Burned:  204 calories per hour   (based on a body weight of 150 lbs.)
Sit tall with your legs extended in front of you. You may want your hips lifted on a folded blanket.

Bend your knees and bring the soles of your feet together, allowing the thighs to fall open to the sides.

Bring your heels close to your pelvis.

Keep your shoulders down as you hold onto your shins or if you can, grasp your big toes with your first and second fingers.

Hold this pose a few breaths. Allow the breath to help you release tightness in your hips.
