Yoga Level 1: Mountain Pose

Stand tall with your feet slightly apart. Your toes point forward and your feet are parallel to each other.

Distribute your weight evenly across the soles of your feet.

Point your tail bone down toward the earth as energy extends up your spine and out through the top of your head.

Shoulders are relaxed.

Your head rests naturally on your spine and your gaze is level.

Your arms are straight at your sides with energy extending down to the earth through your fingertips.

Stand firm, like a mountain, for a few breaths. Let the mind settle.
