Yoga Level 1: Saw Pose

Calories Burned:  170 calories per hour   (based on a body weight of 150 lbs.)
1. Sit with legs extended, feet flexed, and slightly wider than hip-width apart.
2. Stretch your arms out to the sides, fingers extended, palms facing the floor. Press your legs into the floor, and inhale, pulling your abs in and up.
3. Twist to the right with a slight curl in your chest and head toward your right leg. Exhale as you bring your left hand across and just above your right foot in a sawing motion.
4. Return to starting position and repeat on the other side. Continue to alternate.
