Yoga Level 1: Triangle Pose

Calories Burned:  204 calories per hour   (based on a body weight of 150 lbs.)
Instructions: 
Stand in a wide straddle with your arms out to the sides at shoulder height.

Rotate your right leg outward from the hip to a 90-degree angle.

Rotate your left leg inward slightly.

Exhale: Deepen the crease at your right hip as you tilt to the right, bringing your right hand to rest low on your right shin or on the floor along the inside edge of your right foot.

Your hips remain facing forward.

Extend your left arm toward the ceiling.

Turn your head and look past the fingers of your left hand.

Imagine that you are between two sheets of glass - your body is basically flat - not bent in the middle.

Hold 3 to 5 breaths. Practice this pose on the other side.
