Calories Burned:  408 calories per hour   (based on a body weight of 150 lbs.)
Secondary Muscles Trained:  Pectorals, Spinal Erectors
Instructions:
START: Get into a pushup position. Your arms should be straight and your body should form a straight line from your head to your ankles. Set your feet close together and squeeze your glutes. Brace your abdominals—as if you were about to be punched in the gut—and maintain that contraction for the duration of this exercise.

MOVEMENT: Bring your left foot forward, place it next to the outside your left hand (or as close as you can), and lower your hips for a brief moment. Try to keep your right leg straight. Raise your chest and head up. Keeping your arms straight and your body rigid, shift your weight onto your right arm and rotate your chest up and to the left until you are facing sideways. Keep your core stiff as you rotate. Raise your left hand so it is perpendicular to your body. Pause, then return to a pushup position again. Continue to alternate back and forth.
