Calories Burned:  408 calories per hour   (based on a body weight of 150 lbs.)
Primary Muscles Trained:  Deltoids
Instructions:
Adjust a cable machine so that the handle is positioned at or lower than the level of your waist. Grasp the handle, and make sure you keep your body in good posture. Exhale and rotate your shoulder up towards the ceiling until your arm is perpendicular with the floor. Hold for a brief second and then slowly return to the starting position. This can be a tricky exercise to master. The key is to keep the upper part of your arm in the same position throughout while you rotate the forearm away from the floor.
