Yoga Level 1: Eagle Pose

Calories Burned:  204 calories per hour   (based on a body weight of 150 lbs.)
Begin standing in Mountain Pose.

Bend your knees as if you were going to sit straight down.

Cross your right leg over your left. Tuck your right foot behind your left calf, if possible.

Find your balance.

Bring your arms up so that your upper arms are parallel to the floor.

Cross your left arm over your right and turn the palms inward to face each other. Try to bring the palms together.

Support this pose by maintaining a steady breath and a steady gaze.

Hold 3 - 5 breaths. Practice this pose on the other side.
