Yoga Level 1: Half Moon Pose

Calories Burned:  170 calories per hour   (based on a body weight of 150 lbs.)
Instructions: 
1. Start in Triangle pose; right leg in front.

2. Place left hand on left hip and right fingers on the floor in front and to the right of the right foot.

3. Bend your right knee slightly. As you straighten it, lift the left leg off the floor until it's in line with the left hip.

4. Open up your hips behind you and lift the left arm straight up.

5. Look up and hold for 5 breaths.

6. Lower left arm to hip and turn head towards floor.

7. Bend the right knee slightly and lower the left leg toward the floor.

8. Straighten the right knee to return to the Triange pose.

9. Repeat on other side.
