Yoga Level 1: Reclining Twist

Calories Burned:  204 calories per hour   (based on a body weight of 150 lbs.)
Lie on your back with your arms stretched out to the sides.

Bend one knee up so that the shin is parallel to the floor.

Bring the other leg up to join it.

Let your knees fall slowly to the floor on your right as you turn your head to gaze past your left hand.

Hold and relax, breathing deeply into the stretch for a few breaths.

Use your abdominal muscles to bring your legs back to a table-top position.

Simultaneously, return your gaze back to center.

Practice this pose on the other side.
