Begin Standing in Mountain Pose (Tadasana)

Take a wide straddle stance.

Inhale: extend your arms out to the sides.

Turn your right foot out so that the heel of the right foot is in line with the arch of the left foot.

Exhale: Keep your hips facing forward as you crease at your right hip and bend your knee to a 90-degree angle.

Turn your head so that your gaze moves out past your right finger tips.

Support this move by grounding the outside of your left foot and opening your right thigh.

Hold 3 -5 breaths.

Practice this pose on the other side.
