Directions:  
Heat oil in large pan or wok. Whisk garlic, sugar, soy sauce, and beef broth together. Once oil is hot add sliced beef and bite size broccoli, coat with oil and stir fry. Once beef is almost cooked, add sauce to pan. To thicken sauce, make a slurry with cornstarch, add back into pan. Ensure that all pieces of beef and broccoli are coated with sauce. Remove from heat and serve.
