Directions:  
Place onion and water in medium saucepan and cook until tender. Add corn and milk, reduce heat to low and continue to cook 10-15 minutes. Do not let the milk boil. In a jar with a lid, combine half-and-half and flour; shake until flour is dissolved. Slowly add milk-flour mixture to the corn, stirring constantly until thickened. Add salt; stir.
