Directions:

Preheat oven to 375F.

Mix together shortening, sugar, and baking powder. For sweeter cookies, add another half cup of sugar.

Mix in vanilla and eggs.

Slowly mix in flour.

Put dough in fridge for an hour.

Roll dough out on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.

Use cookies cutter or other assorted implements to cut the dough into cookies.

Place nonstick aluminum foil on an insulated cookie pan. Place cookies on aluminum foil.

Bake for 12-14 minutes.

Let the cookies cool, then spread with vanilla frosting.

Decorate as desired.
