Directions:  
Soak beans overnight and drain.
Sear pork steaks in vegetable oil, remove to crock pot.
Add chopped onions and peppers to pan with meat drippings and remaining oil. Saute until soft. Remove to crockpot.
Add beans, salt pepper, paprika, garlic powder, bay leaves, and water to crockpot.
Simmer on low all day.
